TAUNTON Town's Tuesday night match against Torquay United in the National League South has been postponed.
The news comes after the club organised a pitch inspection earlier today and the recent weather had left the pitch at Wordsworth Drive with pools of water and mud.
A club spokesperson said: "Tonight's match with Torquay United FC has been postponed due to a waterlogged pitch following an inspection this morning and a further one at 1pm.
"A new date for the fixture will be announced in due course."
This is the second match at Wordsworth Drive that has been postponed in the last few days.
On Saturday, Truro City were set to play their first home match at the stadium after the groundshare with Taunton was confirmed.
However after recent poor weather and the waterlogged pitch, this game was postponed as well.
The next match scheduled at Wordsworth Drive is coming up on Saturday when Taunton Town host Maidstone United for a 3pm kick off on February 17.
