GREEN keeper Shaun Richards recorded his tenth club championship victory in the last 15 years at Taunton and Pickeridge on Sunday.

Richards, playing off two, recorded gross scores of 68 and 67 for a total of 135.

Close behind with a combined gross score of 138 were Curtis Edwards followed by Connor O'Dell, also 138.

Kobe Adams recorded the best nett score of 130, followed by Shaun Richards with a nett 131, Gavin Whitworth (136) and James Mullins (136).

They were followed by Darryl Pengelly, Simon Stone and Robert Parker, all with 137.

The club’s Seniors championship, played last Wednesday, attracted a field of 50.

Andy Smith took the honours with a gross 81 from David Powell 82 and John Godley 82.

Winner of the nett score competition was Nigel Thomas with a 67 from David Powell (67) and Bob Lyon (68).

The Ladies’ Hawkes Salver and Cup was played in two divisions last Tuesday.

The winner of the salver from the Silver Division was Vicky Davies with 37 points from Linda Lynch (34) and Sheila Beresford (33).

Ladies Captain Marlene Ewens from the Bronze Division was the winner of the Hawkes Cup with 35 points from Katy Davies (34) and Anne Thomas (33).

A team from Teignmouth won the Ladies Three ball Open while the Taunton and Pickeridge team winners were Joan Sayers, Judy Powell and Georgia Calvert with 75 points from Sheila Beresford, Senga Westwater and Carole Rotheram (70).

The June Midweek Stableford, played last Wednesday was won by Jonathan White with 40 points from Aaron Nurcombe (38) and Jon Foster (who won Division One) with (37).

Division One of a Turn Up and Play Stableford on Sunday was won by Steve Sloman with 38 points from Gary Wide (37) and Tom Sloman (36).

Division Two was won by Jonathan White with 37 points from Bob Allan (36) and Aaron Norcombe (33).
