ON Saturday Minehead face an important home league match against an in-form Nailsea Town team.
The visitors are unbeaten in their last six games, a run which has elevated them to seventh position.
Minehead won at Nailsea Town’s ground by three goals to nil during August, so will be looking for another league double to continue their own current winning run.
Minehead Reserves enjoyed their best match of the season last Saturday when they won 13-0 away to fellow promotion hopefuls Bishops Hull, with goals coming from Lee Todd (4), Dan Haran (3) Ross Addicott (2) plus one a piece from Chris Yeates, Scott Rutley, Declan Green and Craig Carr.
This weekend the Blues second team are once again without a match.
However local supporters have another chance to watch Taunton and District Division One football when Alcombe Rovers play Locomotives on Tuesday evening in their second match in two weeks under Irnham Road floodlights.
