WELLINGTON Under-18s secured a comfortable 3-0 win against Galmington to maintain their unbeaten status.
The match was generally scrappy in the first-half with Wellington enjoying most of the possession without creating clear chances.
Jo Conway came close after 15 minutes with a shot past the post and Jack Bryant hit the post at the end of the half after a period of neat, patient play.
At the beginning of the second half, a fierce Jack Bryant free-kick was tipped over the bar and on 55 minutes, Tom Davies broke the deadlock with a great long-range strike to give Wellington the lead.
Two minutes later it was 2-0 when Jack Vile scored with a deft touch past the Galmington ‘keeper following Jack Bryant’s cross.
Wellington’s dominance was confirmed when Connor Bryant scored a brilliant third goal from the edge of the area.
