ROB Stevens, Head of Economics and Business Studies at Wellington School, is travelling to the Netherlands next week to play in the Masters Hockey World Cup.
Stevens, who coaches the Wellington School first team, has been selected to represent Wales in the 40+ age group.
The opportunity brings Stevens full-circle as he played for Wales at Under-21 level before winning a hockey Blue for Cambridge during his university career.
The Masters world cup takes place from June 5 to 13 in Rotterdam and Wales find themselves in a tough group with England, Ghana and the Netherlands.
Stevens, who plays in midfield, said: “I’m really looking forward to representing Wales again and enjoying some interesting games, especially against the holders England and the current champions Holland.”
