TWO rugby players who are part of the King’s College rugby development programme gave impressive performances for South West Academy sides at the weekend.
Aaron Chapman, who last season was named as the England U16 Player of the Year played for the Exeter Chiefs U18 Academy against Bristol scoring two tries.
Aaron, who is a winger, has also been attending monthly England Under-17s and Under-18s camps as well as training with the Chiefs senior squad.
Tom Pittman, who is a fly half, played for the Bath Under-18s Academy against Harlequins this weekend.
Pittman is a talented all-round sportsman, playing both hockey and cricket to a high level.
He also plays alongside Aaron in the South West rugby age-group sides.
Nick Gresswell, Head of Rugby at King’s said: “Both of the boys are very talented and have got a lot left to give.
"Aaron and Tom played well at the weekend and this is a great achievement for both them and for the school."
