FOR the second year running, the Huish Netball team has won the Somerset Under 19s County Cup.
They were undefeated last Wednesday (March 2) when they competed against Somerset’s state and Independent schools at Taunton School. The matches were played in icy cold weather on the outdoor courts.
The team showed their potential earlier in the season when they were runners up in the Somerset U19 National Schools competition and went on to play at the Under 19 National regional event representing Somerset.
Emma McCormack, head of Huish netball said: "Another fantastic team performance, well deserved after all of the hard work the girls have put in throughout their training sessions this year.”
