There was a full programme of divisional cup group games in the Taunton Sunday league.

In Group A of the Keyline Cup, Tone Youth had a good 3-1 win at Hamilton.

Adam Smith and Nick Izzard fired Tone into a two goal lead before a cross-come-shot by Hamilton’s Martyn Hawkins reduced the arrears to 2-1 by half time.

Ryan Hocking scored the only goal of the second half to secure the points for Tone.

Cotford also produced a good away win with a 3-2 victory at Wellington Wanderers.

AFC Grove’s pursuit of all three domestic cups continued as they beat Ash Rangers 2-1 in Group B.

In a tough contest, it was the veteran Nick Woon who again proved the difference.

He scored in each half, the second four minutes from time to give Grove maximum points in both games. Ash had Scott Chidgey on target for them.

Old Inn gained three points when DB United failed to raise a team. This also gives Old Inn six points from two games.

In the Mike Whitehead Cup AFC Dunster and Blue Park Rangers set themselves up nicely in Group A by both maintaining maximum points from two games.

Dunster put five past White Eagles without conceding and Blue Park won a tight contest at Hamilton Reserves.

Blue Park had another poor first half, going two down, but fought back well in the second period.

Jake Viney scored twice and then Robbie Stowell fired Rangers ahead.

Hamilton then levelled the match again only for a last gasp Dan Coate goal giving Blue Park the points.

Wellington Warriors Reserves top Group B thanks to a good 4-2 win over Mariners, Rob Oram and Ian Salter scoring for Mariners.

North Curry won 2-0 at Churchinford to go second.

In Group A of the Mike Stewart Cup White Hart Albion made it two wins from two after a 5-0 win at Williton.

Rob Williamson scored two first half headers to give White Hart a good advantage, Luke Thorne, Jake Short and Shane Hills added to Willitons in the second half.

Wanderers and Watchet shared the points in a 2-2 draw.

Still unbeaten in all competitions, Taunton North started their Group B campaign with a 2-0 win over a good Wyvern side.
