Taunton Titans 81, Worthing Raiders 14
TAUNTON Titans maintained their flawless start to the season with a 13-try thrashing of Worthing Raiders.
Ratu Vakalutukali got things started with a try converted by Gary Kingdom, and it was soon 12-0 as Andy Hamilton finished a flowing move straight from the Raiders kick-off.
Kingdom crossed for the third try and - after the visitors pulled one back - then converted Vakulutukali's second, as the hosts secured the bonus point inside half an hour.
Tom Popham and Freddie Fraser also crossed, and Vakulutukali's hat-trick try made it 41-7 at half time.
The hosts did not let up after the break, as Kingdom and Popham claimed their second tries, before Ollie Rice and Hamilton brought their side past 60 points.
A second Raiders try was a mere consolation, as a penalty try and Dan Frost's effort were the icing on the Titans' cake.
Their sixth straight bonus-point win sees them two points clear of Chinnor at the top of National 2 South, and they go to sixth-placed Bury St Edmunds next Saturday.
