FANCY a nice cool drink before enjoying a meal in the evening sunshine with a stunning view of a historic quarter of Taunton?
This is the latest picture of how a pub plans to create an open-air roof terrace cum beer garden.
The area will look out onto Church Square and the magnificent St Mary Magdalene Church.
Work will start on a £1.4 million refurb of the Perkin Warbeck, on East Street, after it closes for almost three months at 4pm tomorrow (Saturday).

The beer garden plans are for the rear of the building over the existing pavement cafe.
The existing front of the premises will see a covered undercroft with seating.
There will also be an additional side rear terrace.
The Perkin will re-open on Tuesday, October 3.
