GLASTONBURY Festival has announced its ‘We The People’ line-up for its night-time area Shangri-La, featuring Bob Vylan, Brass Against the Machine and Nova Twins.

Some acts included in the area's line-up poster are already scheduled to perform at other areas, including Fatboy Slim (Silver Hayes) and Oh my God! It's the Church (Field of Avalon).

The line-up announcement page said the line-up will offer “community, collaboration, and hope for the next generation”.

The festival also said this is “the first of many exciting announcements... We cannot wait to reconnect!”.

Shangri-La is the seventh area to have its line-up announced for this year's festival, which is taking place at Worthy Farm between Wednesday, June 22 and Sunday, June 26.

In October, festival organisers confirmed that Billie Eilish will become the youngest-ever solo headliner when she takes to the Pyramid Stage on the Friday night.

Former Beatle Sir Paul McCartney will headline on the Saturday night for the second time in his career, before American rapper Kendrick Lamar brings the curtain down on the Sunday night.

The festival has confirmed other area line-ups over the last three weeks.
