A ROAD in a village near Taunton that had been closed since Thursday evening (November 10) due to an oil spill has now reopened.
But drivers are being urged to drive slowly on the B3224 Raleghs Cross Road, Bishops Lydeard for the next few days.
Inspectors gave the go ahead to remove the barriers today (Saturday, November 12).

But they are warning that the road surface has been affected by hydraulic fluid.
A Travel Somerset spokesperson said: "Stone dust has been applied to the sections of road surface affected by spilt hydraulic fluid so please drive slowly here for the next few days."
