VOTERS in Castle Cary are going to the polls on Thursday (August 10) to elect a new Somerset councillor.
A by election has been called to fill the vacant seat created by the death in May of Cllr Mike Lewis.
Voters are reminded to take photo ID with them when they attend a polling station.

Three candidates are standing for election for the vacancy in the two-seat division: David Hall (Conservative); Ewan Jones (Green Party); Kevin Messenger (Liberal Democrat).
