A CONTRAFLOW has been set up in a busy Taunton road following a burst water main.
The restriction has been in place in Priory Bridge Road since yesterday morning (Wednesday, September 6).
Wessex Water works are ongoing and are set to be in place until tomorrow (Friday, September 8), according to the company.
Travel Somerset says on X - formerly Twitter: "Priory Bridge Road update: A temporary contra-flow has been set up outside the Firepool development due to a burst water main."
It adds: "Works are ongoing by @wessexwater to resolve."
The same section of Priory Bridge Road had a one-way restriction in place during sewage mains connection works to Firepool for a number of weeks until that was lifted on Monday (September 4).
