SHOE Zone has officially opened its new shop in Taunton today (Saturday, April 27) after making a move away from its former premises in the town.
The brand new shop is located on North Street, next to River Island, in the building which was formerly home to men's fashion retailer Blue Inc.
‘Closing down’ signs appeared on the windows of the previous Shoe Zone shop on the High Street in May 2023, but it was initially unclear whether the shop was closing or relocating.
A Shoe Zone spokesperson said: "The new premises will showcase Shoe Zone's most recent store design concept, which presents a combination of Shoe Zone's exclusive in-house brand and a wide array of popular name-brand styles."
The Shoe Zone store in Taunton is part of a chain of stores that sell a wide range of shoes and bags for men, women, and children.
In 2020, the company announced the closure of 20 stores post-Covid.
