SHEPTON Mallet has got a brand-new petrol station - with modern motorists in mind.

Motor Fuel Group (MFG) launched the new Shepton Mallet Service Station on Wednesday, June 19, at Cannard's Grave - offering customers petrol, EV charging, and a convenience lineup featuring a Budgens store.

In the not-so-distant future, both Greggs and Pret A Manger will be opening on-site.

MFG, which is the UK's largest independent forecourt operator, said the new station has been designed with modern motorists in mind, combining fuel, EV chargers, food-to-go, parcel lockers and business facilities in one place.

With accessibility in mind, the fuelService app enables disabled drivers to request pump assistance before they arrive.

As Shepton Mallet gets this new petrol station - customers also get a car wash next to the fuel pumps, along with two Costa Coffee takeaway machines.

An MFG spokesperson said: "We're proud to be opening in Shepton Mallet and bringing modern, convenient services to local residents and passing motorists alike."

You can find the new petrol station on the A37, at Shepton Mallet BA4 4NA.
